Apply for Funding

In November each year, the funds raised every year through donations and event fundraising are allocated across a wide variety of registered children's charities for special equipment, programs and research relating to or needed by children between 0 - 18 years of age. 

The Zig Zag Foundation has a proven funding model that is working successfully in allocating the funds. 

Zig Zag Foundation does NOT accept funding applications for marketing, administration costs or wages associated with administration. 

Any funding application received with the costs listed above will be immediately declined.


Annual Funding Timeline

  •    October 31st - Applications Close
  •    November - Applications are reviewed then approved or declined
  •    1st Tuesday in December - Cheque presentation to successful applicants


Application form & guidelines

Examples of the types of projects we consider for funding include:

  •   Purchase of medical equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, walking frames);
  •   Funding for medical operations and other special requirements;
  •   Housing for homeless/street kids;
  •   Counseling;
  •   Financial assistance;
  •   Therapy options, and Research.
